James Charles “Jim” Irwin

JAMES CHARLES “JIM” IRWIN, 79, of Colliers, WV died peacefully on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at Weirton Medical Center. He was born on March 22, 1945, in Steubenville, OH, a son of the late Frank W. and Eula (McElwain) Irwin. In addition to his parents Jim is preceded in death by one daughter, Linda Jo Carroll; and his twin brother, Frank Irwin. Jim worked for many years at Weirton Steel Corporation for over 50 years as an electrician on the wire gang. He was Christian by faith. Jim loved spending time with his family and shopping with his daughters going to Costco. He is survived by two daughters, Carol Mullins (Thomas Stillson) of Follansbee, WV and Cathy Irwin of Moon Township, PA; a son-in-law, Rob Carroll of Follansbee, WV; five grandchildren: Cole, Bryce, Maddison, Chase, and Aspen; and three great grandchildren, Tayton, Freya, and Poppy. Visitation was held on Friday, December 13, 2024 and again on Saturday, December 14, 2024 until the time of the funeral service, with Pastor Joy Leasure officiating, at Mullenbach Funeral Home, Follansbee.
