Roger Henry Kerr

ROGER HENRY KERR, 90. of Wellsburg, WV died peacefully on Thursday, December 26, 2024, in the care of Liza’s Place in Wheeling, WV. Born on February 21, 1934, in Follansbee, WV a son of the late Henry Kerr and Evelyn (Robinson) Little. In addition to his parents, Roger is preceded in death by his two sisters Judy Marino and Karen Sue Shriner. Roger graduated from Wellsburg High School in 1952. After high school he served in the Army during the Korean War. He retired from Weirton Steel Corporation with over 25 years of service where he worked as director of employee benefits. Roger was Presbyterian by faith. His favorite past time was golfing with friends and traveling the country with his wife Nancy. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Nancy (Gordon) Kerr at home; four children: Roger Lee Kerr of Wellsburg, WV, Vickie L. Kerr of Norfolk VA, Richard (Brenda) Kerr of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Randy (Cindy) Kerr of Myrtle Beach, SC; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. There was no visitation. A private family gathering was held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were entrusted to Mullenbach Funeral Home, Follansbee.
