William James Hannan

WILLIAM JAMES HANNAN III, 71, of Follansbee, WV, passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2025 at his residence under the care of his family with the assistance of Valley Hospice. William was born on June 19, 1953 in Steubenville, OH. He was the son of the late William James Hannan Jr. and Flora (Thompson) Hannan. William served proudly in the United States Army receiving National Defense Service Medal and Marksman M-16. He retired from Timet in Toronto, OH as an Electrician. Many will remember William for his love of fishing and working and collecting Old Clocks. William is survived by his wife, Cathy (Sarver) Hannan; four children: Brian Hannan, Nathan McKee, Donald McKee and his spouse, Chris King, and Sarah McKee; five grandchildren: Desirae Gorrell, Abaigail Bone and her husband, Trevor, Nathan C., and Logan and Zoey McKee; three siblings: Christine Lauck and her husband, John, Trish Sarver and her husband, Leroy, and Elaine Burt and her husband, Bill; and numerous nieces and nephews. The James Funeral Home of Follansbee, was honored and privileged to serve the Hannan Family with a private Veteran’s Cremation.
