DAVID ROGER ROTHWELL, 77 of Wellsburg, WV passed away January 21, 2025, at home. He was born October 23, 1947, in Wheeling, WV to the late David F. and Charlotte Geho Rothwell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, John Bassett, Sr. He is survived by his wife, Wyvonna Eileen Vandruff Rothwell; his daughter, Charlotte Rothwell McDonough of Wellsburg, WV; daughter-in-law, Marsha Bassett; a sister, Margaret “Margie” Hensler (Bill) of Wellsburg; three grandchildren: John K Bassett, Jr. (fiancé Brittany), Tyler Bassett (fiancé Jessica), and Ashley McDonough; and five great grandchildren: Aria Bassett, and Carson, Paisely, Savannah, and Eli Butler. Visitation was held on January 24, 2025 until the time of the service, at Reasner Funeral Home, Wellsburg, with Pastor Brian Knight officiating. Inurnment was held privately at Franklin Cemetery.
