Linda Carol Campinelli

LINDA CAROL CAMPINELLI, 82, of Wellsburg, WV died peacefully on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at Golden Oaks Residential Board and Care in Follansbee, WV with her family by her side. Born on April 12, 1942, in Wheeling, WV a daughter of the late William and Nora “Birdie” (Bannister) Cain. In addition to her parents, Carol is preceded in death by three brothers, Homer Fay Warnix, Fred Lloyd Cain, Sr., and William “Bill” Bruce Cain, Jr. and her sister, Alice Joyce Brown. Carol graduated from Wellsburg High School in 1960. She retired from RESA VI where she worked as an Executive Administrative Assistant. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Wellsburg, WV. Carol loved to follow her grandchildren in all of their activities and sports. Carol is survived by her son, Joseph Campinelli and wife, Dianne of Wellsburg, WV; two grandchildren who she adored deeply, Delaynie and Jace Campinelli; and several nieces and nephews and special friend, Margie Taylor. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2025, from 2 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 4 p.m., at Mullenbach Funeral Home, Follansbee, with Rev. Jared Jimenez officiating. Inurnment was held privately in Kadesh Chapel Cemetery, Beech Bottom. The family would like to thank the staff at Golden Oaks especially Lori Casinelli and Chris Piccirillo for all the excellent care Carol received over the years along with numerous church family that supported her in her journey along the way.
