DONNA NEWTON BROWN, 89, of Wellsburg, WV passed away February 10, 2025, at Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling, WV. She was born March 10, 1935, in Wheeling, WV to the late John W. and Lola Roberts Newton. She retired from the Brooke County Clerk’s office. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Wellsburg. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband William “Bill” J. Brown who passed August 11, 2024, her stepmother Florence “Sammy” Ventresca, her brother John W. Newton IV, two sisters Doris Kirker and Wanda Gilchrist. She is survived by her two daughters, Nadine Brown of Follansbee, WV and Cathy (Bill) Cipriani of Wellsburg, WV; five grandchildren: Rob (Brandi) Henderson, Jason Stewart, Spencer (Jaimie) Allemond, Emilee (Chris) Stewart, and Max (Sarah) Allemond; seven great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and her niece, Linda Likins. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, from 3 p.m. until the time of service at 5 p.m., at Reasner Funeral Home, Wellsburg, with Rev. Mary Jane Knapp officiating.
