Ruth Jane Minda

RUTH JANE MINDA, 79, of Wellsburg, WV died peacefully on Monday, February 3, 2025 at UPMC Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA surrounded by her family. Born on November 30, 1945 in Wilkinsburg, PA to the late Robert and Esther (West) Brooks. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, John Robert Minda on June 19, 2015. She attended Wellsburg High School and later worked as a hostess for multiple different cafes. In her spare time she could be found spending time with her loving family as she was described as a very family oriented person. She was also a previous member of the A.A.R.P. Ruth is survived by four devoted children: Brad A. (Jada) Minda of Fredericksburg, VA, Eric Paul Minda of Wellsburg, WV, Melissa Minda of Wellsburg, and Angela Minda and fiancé, Louis Miller of Wellsburg; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren. There was no visitation. All services and inurnment were held privately at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were entrusted to Mullenbach Funeral Home, Follansbee.
