SEAN PATRICK HUTCHISON, 56, of Colliers, WV died peacefully on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, surrounded by his loving family at his home in Colliers, WV after a long hard fought battle with brain cancer. Born December 13, 1968, in Butler, PA a son of the late Richard Hutchison and Karen (Eugene) Seezox of Butler, Pa. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his brother, Richard Hutchison, Jr. Sean graduated from Butler High School in 1986. After high school he enlisted in the U.S. Airforce and was sent to Bitburg, Germany where received his training to work on F-15 Fighter Jets. After his diagnosis he was forced to quit from Dallas Airmotive where he worked as an airplane engine mechanic. He was Catholic by faith. In his spare time, he loved riding his motorcycle with friends and shared a love of the 2nd Amendment and loved to shoot his firearms when possible. Most of his friends knew that there wasn’t a friend he hadn’t played a practical joke on. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his devoted wife of years, Amy (Smith) Hutchison at home; his son, Colin Hutchison; six siblings: Heidi Klann (Scott Roebuck) of Huntington Beach, CA, Harry (Jodie) Klann of Aledo, TX, Matt (Allison) Seezox of Philadelphia, PA, Cheri Scott of Saxonburg, PA, and Connie Bergman of Ashville, NC; mother-in-law, Sharon Rogers of Mt. Clare, WV; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many lifelong friends; and his little furry buddy Cooper. Visitation was held on Friday, February 14, 2025 until the time of funeral services, at Mullenbach Funeral Home, Follansbee, with Pastor Angel Adams officiating. Interment was held on Monday, February 17, 2025, in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville, PA, with full military honors conducted by the Ohio Valley Veterans Memorial Squad and the U.S. Airforce Honor Guard.
