Joseph Terry Dami

JOSEPH TERRY DAMI, 87, of Colliers, WV died peacefully on Thursday, February 20, 2025 at Valley Hospice Care North in Steubenville, OH. Born June 3, 1937 in Tiltonsville, OH a son of the late Joseph John and Mary (Osetik) Dami. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his loving wife, Lois (Saunders) Dami, and daughter Cathy Sullivan. Joseph graduated in 1956 from Follansbee High School and later was drafted in the Army. He retired from Weirton Steel Corporation where he worked as a heater. His senior year he was a pitcher for the Follansbee High School Championship baseball team. Joseph was a lifelong member of the Colliers Sportsman’s Club. He is survived by four children: Carol (Greg) Nickoles of Colliers, WV, Terry “Butch” (Kathryn) Dami of Charlotte, NC, Dave Dami of Colliers, and Danny Dami of Weirton, WV; four grandchildren, Kaleigh (Art) Scherich, Terran Dami, Glory Dami, and Ruby Dami; two great-grandchildren, Riley and Olivia; one sister, June Cupini of Weirton; one brother, Christopher (Becky) Dami of Washington, PA; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. There was no visitation. A private family graveside service was held in St. John Haven of Rest Cemetery, Colliers. Arrangements by Mullenbach Funeral Home, Follansbee.
