Bonnie Lou (Green) Camilletti

BONNIE LOU (GREEN) CAMILLETTI, affectionately known as the “May Queen”, 92, of Wellsburg, WV died peacefully on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at Weirton Medical Center. Born February 1, 1933 in Wellsburg, WV a daughter of the late Edward and Margaret (Blankensop) Green. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Eugene Ernest Camilletti on September 3, 2017; her son, Eugene E. Camilletti; her sister, Pat Doty; and brother, Edward “Ray” Green. Bonnie graduated from Wellsburg High School in 1951 and retired from the Pillsbury Corporation later known as A.D.M. Milling where she worked as a secretary. She was a faithful member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Wellsburg, WV and held memberships in the Altar and Rosary Society at church. Her love of gardening kept her active in the Wellsburg Garden Club. She is survived by her devoted son, Edward Stephen Camilletti and wife, Mary of Weirton, WV; six grandchildren: Benjamin, Samuel, Jacob, Margaret, Maxwell, and Mia Camilletti; several nieces, nephews, and cousins all from the Green; Doty, Lazear; Gundling families; and her furry companion, Lulu. Visitation for Bonnie will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025, from 4-8 p.m., at Mullenbach Funeral Home. A vigil service will be held at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. A Catholic funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, with the Rev. Father Justin Golna as celebrant. Interment will follow in Franklin Cemetery.
