LEGAL NOTICE OF THE FILING OF A PETITION FOR FORFEITURE
The object of this suit is to seek an order forfeiting the herein described property pursuant to the West Virginia Contraband Forfeiture Act.
TO: ANY CLAIMANT OF A RIGHT OR INTEREST IN SAID PROPERTY: You have the right to file a claim on or before April 15, 2025. Any claim must clearly state the identity of the claimant and an address where legal process can be served upon the claimaint.
The property which has been seized and is the subject of this suit is described as follows:
U.S. Currency: $3,930.00
The law enforcement agency requesting forfeiture of the property is the Hancock-Brooke-Weirton Drug Task Force. The request for forfeiture is based upon the property being seized by a Detective of the Hancock-Brooke-Weirton Drug Task Force during a search warrant which occurred on the 4th day of March, 2025, involving Travis S. Gray Jr., who is believed to be the owner of said U.S. Currency and was in possession of the same.
That after the date for filing of said claims an order of the Court directing forfeiture of the seized property to the State of West Virginia and vesting ownership of said property shall be sought. If you fail to file a claim, thereafter an Order, upon proper hearing, may be entered against you for the relief demanded in the Petition.
A copy of said Petition can be obtained from the Circuit Court of Brooke County, West Virginia.
