BONNIE LEE BILLICK, 81, of Colliers, WV passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family at WVU Weirton Medical Center on Saturday, March 29, 2025. Born on October 25, 1943, in Steubenville, she was a beloved daughter of the late Jesse J. and Georgia Ann Clark Jackson. A graduate of Weir High School, Class of 1961, Bonnie married the love of her life, William G. Billick, on June 9, 1962. Their beautiful marriage of 50 years was a shining example of devotion and partnership. Bonnie and Bill were inseparable, and her love and dedication to him endured until his passing on September 15, 2012. Bonnie dedicated over 30 years to her community as a bank teller, eventually retired from National City Bank, where she was known for her warm smile and caring heart. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, affectionately known as “NaNa.” Her family was her world. Bonnie never missed a single game or event—always there in the stands to cheer on her children and grandchildren. A spirited and social woman, Bonnie found joy in playing cards and was a cherished member of three local card clubs. She also enjoyed the entertainment and camaraderie of visits to local casinos. While she loved to have a good time, she was, at heart, a homebody who found the greatest happiness in life’s simple pleasures, especially those shared with Bill. Whether it was a quiet evening at home or just running errands together, their bond was a constant source of strength and comfort. Bonnie’s legacy is one of love, loyalty, and unwavering presence in the lives of those she cherished. Her gentle spirit and radiant heart will be deeply missed by all who knew her. In addition to her parents and her husband Bill, Bonnie was preceded in death by her sisters Dorothy Brancazio and her husband Tony, Joyce Fraga and her husband Manuel, and Judy Jackson. Left to cherish her memory with love and admiration are her children, sons Bill Billick, Jr., of Weirton, Tim (Kim) Billick of Valdosta, GA., daughters Robin (Todd) Lojszczyk of Follansbee, Sherry (Rick) Nolan of McDonald, PA., Lorie (Kris) Potock of Weirton, and Suzanne (Scott) Bedore of Follansbee, grandchildren, Kendall (Brian), Kacie (Tim), Meghan (Nate) Ian, Cody, Avery, Maddie (Devan) Logan, Kali, Kamryn (Cross) Kloee, Nathan, Aly, Emily, Jenna, and Makenna, and six great grandchildren, Caleb, Brock, Prezleigh, Anthony, Baylor, and Beau, and her great-great-grandson, Hudson. Friends were inivited to visit Bonnie’s family on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, Weirton, where her funeral service was celebrated on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, with Pastor Kendon Alexander officiating. Bonnie was buried next to her husband, Bill, at St. John Haven of Rest Cemetery. Donations may be made in Bonnie’s memory to the American Cancer Society at donate.cancer.org.
