SARAH ALICE (O’SHINSKY) ANDERSON, 73, of Weirton, WV, passed away on March 26, 2025 with her devoted husband, Wesley Anderson at her side. Sarah was born in Canonsburg, PA on July 18,1951 to the late Josephine (Ambrose) and Frank O’Shinsky. She was a beloved wife of Wesley Anderson of Weirton, WV. Sarah was a devoted sister to Josephine O. Davis of San Clemente, CA; Dr. Evelyn O. Talbott of Pittsburgh; her brother, Frank J. O’Shinsky of Canonsburg, PA; and cousin, Janice Komar of Weirton. She was also a devoted aunt to Demi Anderson Mitiku, of Weirton; Aaron Davis of San Clemente, CA; Matthew Davis of Mission Viejo, CA; and Jacqueline Talbott Kremer, of Alexandria, VA; and John B. Talbott of New York, NY. Sarah attended Robert Morris College and began employment at the Pittsburgh Press, Washington County edition in 1981. When the Pittsburgh Press ceased operation in the early 1990’s, she became the cashier supervisor for the Pittsburgh Post Gazette in 1992 and continued until 2019 when she retired.
