DOROTHY PAULINE SACRIPANTI, 97, of Wellsburg, WV passed away March 30, 2025, at Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling, WV. She was born August 7, 1927, in Wellsburg, WV to the late Nick and Rose Ardente Sacripanti. Dorothy was retired as a Deputy Clerk at the Brooke County Clerk’s Office, was a member of the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Altar Rosary and AARP. In addition to her parents, she is preceded by five sisters, Betty Cipriani, Norma Lauri, Virginia Cross, Gloria Sacripanti, Jeanette Rocchio, and one nephew. She is survived by two sisters, Eleanor Sacripanti of Wellsburg, WV and Ann Taylor and her husband, Kenny of Oak Dale, PA; ten nieces and nephews; and several great and great-great-nieces and nephews. Visitation was held Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at Reasner Funeral Home, Wellsburg. Funeral Liturgy with Mass was celebrated at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Wellsburg, on Thursday, April 3, 2025, with Father Justin Golna as Celebrant. Interment followed at Franklin Cemetery, Wellsburg. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. John Church Elevator fund in Dorothy’s honor.
