Jeffrey James Deveaney

JEFFREY JAMES DEVEANEY, 32, of Weirton, WV, a life well lived unexpectedly ended on Saturday, March 29, 2025, from injuries sustained in a tragic vehicle accident. Jeff was born on August 31, 1992, in Shadyside Pittsburgh, PA, a son of Sherri Deveaney of Weirton, WV and Tim (Elaine) Deveaney of Washington, PA. In addition to his parents Jeff is preceded in death by his grandparents; his stepfather, Kurt Ashenfelter; and his father-in-law, Richard Kins. Jeff was an affectionate dedicated and hardworking man who always put the needs of others ahead of his own. He was a great provider and family man. He absolutely loved his job at Campbell Transportation Company and his coworkers he spent most 12-hour days with. In his spare time, he enjoyed working on and riding dirt bikes and four wheelers with his brother-in-law Isaac. He loved everyone, especially his wife and children. Jeff’s personality brought warmth and joy to everyone he encountered, and his passing will be mourned by everyone who knew and loved him. His memory will remain in the hearts of his family, friends, and all that were honored to have had the privilege of knowing him. Jeff’s legacy will live on for generations to come. In addition to his parents, Jeff is survived by his loving wife, Allishia Deveaney; a daughter, Harmony Kins; a son, Hayden Deveaney; two brothers, Timothy Deveaney Jr. and Brandon Deveaney (Amanda Santo); mother-in-law, Caroline Kins; sister in law, Hannah Kins (Skippy Scurry); nephews: Kais Santo, Maverick Scurry, and Rai Scurry; brother-in-law, Isaac Kins; step-sisters, Nicole and Sherrl and several aunts, uncles, family, and friends. Visitation for Jeff was held on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 until the time of the funeral service, with Pastor Lori Williams officiating, at Mullenbach Funeral Home, Follansbee.
