MARY “MISSY” HADOBAS, 66, of Weirton, WV passed away on Monday, March 31, 2025, at her residence. Born on May 16, 1958, in Weirton, Missy was the only daughter of Gabriel and Mary Grantonic Hadobas. A lifelong resident of Weirton, she graduated from Weirton Madonna High School in 1976 and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology from Franciscan University in 1980. Missy was employed within the AGH Healthcare system and retired with over thirty years of dedicated service. Missy was a woman of deep faith and unwavering devotion. Her love for Madonna High School and her cherished St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church was evident in every aspect of her life. She was a familiar face at St. Paul’s, where she served faithfully as a greeter and CCD teacher. Her gentle spirit and kind heart especially endeared her to the parish children, with whom she shared a very special bond. A selfless and creative soul, Missy found joy in making handcrafted greeting cards for her friends and family, always marking life’s special moments with her personal touch. She loved to travel and treasured the many adventures she shared with her brother Joe and his wife Toni, exploring places like New York, Chicago, and California. Missy’s close cousins were more than relatives; they were her extended family and brought immense joy to her life. Her happiest moments were spent surrounded by those she loved most. Missy was preceded in death by her parents. Left to cherish her memory with love and admiration are her brother Joe (Toni) Hadobas of Pittsburgh and many loving cousins. Friends were invited to visit Missy’s family on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, Weirton. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Friday, April 4, 2025, at St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church, Weirton, with Fr. Binu Sebastian presiding. Burial immediately followed in Mt.
