Linda Lorraine Carroll

LINDA LORRAINE CARROLL, 75, of Weirton, WV died peacefully on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at home surrounded by her family. Linda was born on December 4, 1949, in West Union, West Virginia a daughter of the late Ralph Lester and Clara Irene (Knight) Boyd. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers, Donald Boyd and Joe Boyd and her longtime companion, Larry Knapp. Linda graduated from Weir High School. She worked at Reed-Collins Associates as a bonding agent and was a member of Refocus Christian Church in Follansbee, WV. In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time with her family. Linda is survived by one daughter, Billie Carroll and her husband, John Cox of Weirton, WV; three grandchildren, Madison (Brandon) Cramer, Christopher Holloway and Cassidy (Oscar) Santos; two great grandchildren, Miles and Elena; two brothers, Rick (Bobbi) Boyd of Colliers, WV and Tim (Grace) Boyd of New Cumberland, WV; Mona (Mike) Davis of Colliers; Betsy (Paul) Stanley of New Cumberland; Kathy (Tom) Hanson of Carrollton OH; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation for Linda was held on Friday, April 11, 2025 until the time of the funeral service, with Pastor Jason Cline officiating, at Mullenbach Funeral Home, Follansbee.
