Rhonda Chyrel (Miller) “Momma Rhonda” Taylor

RHONDA CHYREL (MILLER) “MOMMA RHONDA” TAYLOR, 69, of Wellsburg, WV died peacefully on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on September 20, 1955, in Wellsburg, WV a daughter of the late Duane Dewey and Betty Jane (Yater) Miller. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Floyd E. Taylor, Sr; one son, Jay Duane Taylor; and one brother, Toby Miller. Rhonda was a member of the New Day Christian Center. She worked at Brooke Hills Park for many years where she helped with many events. In her spare time, she enjoyed making crafts with her girlfriends and most of all loved spending time with her family. Rhonda is survived by three children: Rodney Taylor and fiancé Carrie, Nancy (Colin) Kelly, and Floyd (Eliza) Taylor, Jr.; eleven grandchildren: Colin, Katie, Theodotia, Mabel, Opel, Shepherd, Rochelle, Abby, Dalton, Marshall, and Jaxson and one more grandchild on the way; nine siblings: Hudson Miller, Roland (Shirley) Miller, Winnie (John) Horvath, Nancy (Lester) Taylor, Sr., Dean (Sandy) Miller, Penny (Gene) Westfall, Donna (Mike) Johnson, Buck Yater, and Ginger Cook; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Visitation for Rhonda was held on Friday, April 11, 2025 until the time of the funeral services, with Pastor Angel Adams officiating, at Mullenbach Funeral Home, Follansbee.
