GFWCWV Spring Workshop

GFWCWV Northern District Spring Workshop was held April 26, at Bethany Memorial Church, hosted by the GFWCWV Bethany Woman’s Club. Helen Moren, President, served as chairman. Members wore blue in observance of Child Prevention and collected items for foster care children.
The welcome was given by Michelle Beihl, Northern District President, inspiration by Helen Gibson, Follansbee 20th Century President and Second Vice President Jeanne Amidon. First Vice President and Weirton Woman’s Club President led the Pledge of Allegiance of the United States Flag of America and Club Collect.
Guest Speaker, Susan Harrison, Executive of CASA spoke about Foster Care.
Workshops were presented by Sandy Smith, Art and Craft Chairman, Ms. Amidon, Leadership and Ms. Moren Helpful hints on Club Reporting. GFWC information was given by Ms. Beihl.
