WAYNE BRUCE BERRY, 61, of Weirton, WV, passed away unexpectedly at his home on April 25, 2025, due to complications from diabetes. Born on January 31, 1964, in Mount Pleasant, Ohio, Wayne was one of four children born to the late James and Annaliese Berry. After graduating from Ohio University, Wayne pursued a career in accounting, bringing dedication and expertise to every role he held. His professional journey included work at BHJ, Wheeling Catholic Central, Change, Inc., and the Wheeling Housing Authority. In recent years, he found joy in a new chapter, working as a driver for Genesis and serving as a host and baker at Eat’n Park in Weirton as well as working for an area cafe. On December 28, 1989, Wayne married Roxanne Guglielmo, after meeting through an online dating site, Match Makers. Together, they were blessed with a daughter, Bethany, who is currently a senior at Weir High School. He was an avid collector of memorabilia, especially anything related to John Deere. He loved NASCAR racing and, in his younger years, spent countless hours riding dirt bikes. For relaxation, Wayne enjoyed fishing, cheering on his favorite WWE wrestling stars, and listening to the classic sounds of Van Halen. He was preceded in death by his parents; his stepfather, Bob Millward; and his father-in-law, John Guglielmo. Wayne’s memory will live on in the hearts of his beloved wife Roxanne; his cherished daughter Bethany; his brothers, George Berry and Paul Berry (Mary); his sister, Irene Berry; and his mother in law, Barbara Guglielmo. Wayne was cremated at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, Weirton. His family gathered privately to celebrate his life. Share tributes at www.grecohertnick.com.
