Wilma Lee (Barrett) Breeden

WILMA LEE (BARRETT) BREEDEN, 72, of Follansbee, WV, passed away on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2025 at the Brookside Nursing Home., Warrenton, VA after a long and heartfelt battle with Dementia. Wilma was born on September 29, 1952 in Annapolis, MD. She was the daughter of the late John Samuel Barrett and Martha Grace (Kurkendoll) Barrett. Wilma worked many years at a Dry Cleaner in Glen Burnie, MD. Many will remember Wilma for her love of crocheting. In addition to her parents, Wilma was preceded in death by her daughter, Hope and a sister, Carolyn Pilgar. Wilma is survived by her two children, David and Andy McCauley; grandchildren; four siblings: Ruth Coleman, Jeannie Shipley, John Barrett, and Michael Barrett; four step siblings: Dolores, Linda, Brenda and “Billy”; and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends were received until the time of the funeral service on Thursday, April 24, 2025, at the James Funeral Home, Follansbee.
