Feel free to “unfriend” me if this set of words upsets you. Sigh….. here goes….. This is a tough subject but we all must consider to give it a ponder at one point or another in our lives. Parasites. Ugh…. It gives me the creeps just putting it on paper.
You know the commercial that says… “What’s in YOUR wallet”? Let me just ask “What’s in YOUR walls of your intestines or blood vessels?” Ick. There’s that creepy feeling again. I hate this. I hate the thoughts of this. Anyway, in recent research it has come to our attention that parasites are a huge part of many of our health conditions or chronic illnesses.
Here are some recent findings, and no I don’t have all the references and research papers to refer you to. But please, research these things and ideas for yourself and correct me if I am wrong in what I understand to be true and new discoveries. Here are some examples:
Do you know those floaters in your eyes? The little bit of blur that are in the shape of a comma or round dot; the ones that are there sometimes in one spot of your field of vision and then in another spot later or not there at all? Well guess what?! They are believed to be tiny parasites. Lovely
Supposedly most cancers are caused by parasites. And that makes sense to me because walnut oil/leaves tincture is supposed to kill cancer. And why do we even use the word “kill” cancer? Makes you wonder. But if you are looking to do a parasitic cleanse in your body, walnut oil/leaves tincture and even the outer hull of the nut is what folks use. Same as for killing cancer. Butternut trees oil, leaves and hulls work the same magic for both.
When I had stage four cancer, I learned about baking soda and the importance of keeping your alkalinity all the way up to 8.5 to 9 in order to “kill” cancer. AND I learned that nothing can live in high alkalinity levels like that. So, it makes me wonder….. by keeping the alkalinity that high for deleting cancer…. was it technically deleting cancer-causing parasites in my body that cannot live in such high alkaline environment? Goodness. This is such a creepy subject.
Then we move on to arthritis. Yes. it is being studied that joint pain, inflammation including arthritis is also caused by parasites. And you know that pesky situation with Lyme’s Disease that so many people suffer from? Well as it turns out the tick infected with Lyme’s Disease that infects you with a bite is infected with…… you guessed it…… parasites. So even a tick which is a kind of parasite, can get parasites of its own and then it is called Lyme’s Disease!
And of course, we have all heard of “leaky gut” by now. That is caused by “bad” bacteria and possibly a mixture of parasites. And we need to eat “good” bacteria to keep our gut healthy. Keeping our gut healthy eliminates a lot of our digestion problems, like irritable bowel syndrome (which I used to suffer terribly from), bloating after eating, weight gain, excess gas, elimination problems and other general digestive problems. Leaky gut can create sepsis and diverticulitis that are both life-threatening once they have reached a certain threshold.
So, how can we eat healthy bacteria which helps our gut? Well, that’s where our fermented foods come in handy. If you can learn this survival skill and make these yourself, you will be amazed at how much better you feel. If you are not making your own sauerkraut, then make sure you are buying the one at the store in the refrigerated section. And make sure it is the one with only three ingredients on the label. Those would be: cabbage, salt and water.
Then you can get the drink which comes in a variety of flavors called kombucha. Again, it is in the refrigerated section of the grocery store. And there are several recipes online to make your own kombucha. I have never made it but I have made my own sauerkraut, and it is pretty easy but it takes a good long time and is a little fragrant.
Another way to get good bacteria in your system is with yogurt. I have a friend who makes her own yogurt. She buys good whole milk and the certain enzymes, keeps it at the right temperature and strains it and it is so delicious. So with that comes the whey that separates out of it. When I get the yogurt from her I also get the whey. You can add the whey to smoothies or to soups or sauces once you take them off the heat. Voila!! Good bacteria made easy.
Some other way to do a parasitic cleanse for your body is to go to a farmer’s market to find the folks there who are knowledgeable and trained in this stuff. You can get tinctures of clove, oregano, blackseed oil, wormwood and walnut combos. I also understand that castor oil is also good for such an occasion. Did you have to take castor oil as a kid? Hmmm….. Did our grandparents already know these things? Good luck out there hope to see you next time.
As always feel free to send in your notions and comments to [email protected]. I will include them in the next available column as per their arrival relative to the publication deadline of Tuesday by 12 p.m. of the same week. If you wish to be anonymous, let me know. Kindness is contagious~*
