James D. Griffith

JAMES D. GRIFFITH of Wellsburg, WV passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at Trinity West surrounded by his loving family. He worked at Weirton Steel for 37 years. He was truly an outdoorsman. He loved fishing, hunting, boating and especially golfing with his son David. He also restored many cars and raced dirt bikes. He also enjoyed traveling with his family. He was preceded in death by his brother, Gary and parents, James and Mary Rita Griffith. After his passing, he leaves behind a brother, Robert (Bob) Griffith; a sister, Laurel Nieman and husband Greg; and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his loving wife, Sissy and son, David. A memorial of his life will be held from 12 p.m. until the time of the service at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 17, 2025, with Joy Leasure officiating, at Reasner Funeral Home, Wellsburg.
