Thomas Lee Puskarich, Sr.

THOMAS LEE PUSKARICH, SR., 81, of Follansbee, WV, passed away suddenly on Friday, May 23, 2025 at his residence. Tom was born on March 10, 1944 in Washington, PA. He was the son of the late Thomas and Mary (Dolinar) Puskarich. Tom retired after 45 years of service as a millwright at Climax Molybdenum, Langeloth, PA. He was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, Follansbee, WV. Many will remember Tom for his involvement in the Follansbee Baseball and Softball Associations, his love of being outdoors; but most of all, his greatest joy was his grandchildren that he never missed any event they were participating in. Tom was a friend to all and always willing to lend a helping hand. Tom is survived by his wife of 60 years, Julia Anne (Settimio) Puskarich; three children: Thomas Puskarich, Jr. of Wellsburg, WV, Joseph Puskarich and his wife, Caryn of Wheeling, WV, and Lisa Ferguson and her husband, Todd of Wellsburg; his amazing grandchildren: Emily Drahos and her husband, Matt, Alex Puskarich and Josh and Hannah Ferguson; a great granddaughter, Kennedy Drahos; a brother-in-law, Lou Settimio and his wife, Andrea; a sister-in-law, Terri Settimio Sinnott; and niece and nephews: Christy Settimio Hopson, Tony Settimio, Joseph Settimio, and Michael Sinnott. Family and friends were received on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, with a vigil service at the James Funeral Home, Follansbee, where the funeral commenced on Wednesday, May 28, 2025. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Follansbee, Father Gerald Muoka presiding. Interment followed at Oak Grove Cemetery, Follansbee.
