Charlene Leona Francis LeMasters

CHARLENE LEONA FRANCIS LEMASTERS, 87, of Wellsburg, WV passed away May 25, 2025, at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA. She was born December 24, 1937, in Wellsburg, WV to the late Clyde Francis and Leona Miller Alexander. Charlene was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two sons, Ricky McCartney and Lemoin “Lee” Robert LeMasters; her brother, Ronnie Alexander; her sister, Anna Mae Palmer; and her grandson, Bucky Chapman. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Lemoin Argel LeMasters; a son, David McCartney (Linda) of Wooster, OH; two daughters: Nanetta Chapman of Gainesville, GA and Susan LeMasters of Wellsburg, WV; two brothers: August Sonny (Patty) Alexander and Donald “Bubba” (Fran) Alexander; five sisters: Dorothy Craft, Norma Schoene, Wanda Bennett, Nancy Postle, Beverly (Bob) Lowe, and Linda (Sam) Greathouse; five grandchildren: Rich, Mike, Kurt Boyce, and Misty Dawson, and Sarah McCartney; and several great and great-great grandchildren. Visitation was held on Monday, June 2, 2025, at Franklin Cemetery, Wellsburg, until the time of the service, with the Pastor of the First Church of God, Wooster, OH, Arnie Kauffman, officiating.
