Edith P. Keenan

EDITH P. KEENAN, 84, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at Valley Hospice in Steubenville following a lengthy illness. ​She was born in Jamestown, Tennessee on March 23, 1941. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Robert Keenan, whom she married on September 5, 1958. Together, they pastored the Voice of Pentecost Church in Weirton for over 50 years. She also was the Director of the Haller Park Day Care which was located at the church. She developed many long-lasting relationships through ministry and the care of many children throughout the years. ​Surviving are two sons, Dan Keenan (Barbara) of Cadiz, OH and Randy Keenan (Mamie) of Weirton, WV; grandchildren, Rev. Matthew Keenan (Sarah) of Colliers, WV, Andrew Keenan of Cadiz, OH, Joshua Keenan of Steubenville, OH and Sarah Marie Keenan of Weirton; and four great-grandchildren. ​Visitation for Edith was held Friday, June 20, 2025, with funeral services immediately following, at the Voice of Pentecost Church, Weirton. Interment was held at the convenience of the family at Highland Hills Memorial Gardens. Arrangements were entrusted to Steel and Wolfe Funeral Home, Weirton.
