Samuel Lee Miller

SAMUEL LEE MILLER, 55, passed away on July 1, 2025, at UPMC Washington in Washington, PA, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on November 16, 1969. Sam graduated from Brooke High School in 1988 and proudly served in the Army, where he drove trucks during Operation Desert Storm as a combat veteran. His passion for driving continued long after his honorable discharge, as he pursued a career as a truck driver. He had a deep love for NASCAR, particularly for Dale Earnhardt, Sr., and enjoyed going for long car rides. Additionally, he had a fondness for Harley Davidson motorcycles, despite never owning one. He is survived by his fiancée, Judy Davis, and his five beloved children: Cortney Miller, Stephen Miller, Rachel Parker, Christopher Miller, and Alleigh Huntzinger. He was also a proud grandfather to four grandchildren: Carleigh Miller, Camilla Miller, Samaya Miller, and Camdyn Miller, and he eagerly anticipated the arrival of Kayce Parker, who will join us soon. Samuel is also survived by his sister, Sarah Alvarez, and his mother, Sharon Hunter; and his furry companions Pepper and Missy. He is preceded in death by his father, Michael Miller, and his maternal grandparents, Samuel and Waneda Whitacre. Everyone who knew Sam has a funny story to share, reflecting his vibrant personality and the joy he brought to those around him. While there will be no formal funeral service, the family appreciates the love and support from all who knew Sam. He will be deeply missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. All services and inurnment were held privately and were under the direction of Mullenbach Funeral Home, Follansbee.
