EDNA MARGARET FOWLER PEPE, 91, of Wellsburg, WV passed away July 14, 2025, at Lancia Villa Vista, Steubenville, OH. She was born January 12, 1934, in Rea, PA to the late Nathaniel and Anna Holmes Fowler. She retired from Brooke County Schools as a cook, and she was a member of the West Middletown Christian Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Samuel Pepe, Sr., who passed in 1998; her son, Stephen “Sam” Pepe, Jr., (Darla); her siblings: Anna Milvet, Ruth Myrt Stolkovich, William Jack Fowler, Albert Fowler, Harry David Fowler, Mary Ellen King, Reathie Mae, Elsie Mae Buchanon, Martha Collins, Emma Starinsky, and Edythe Fisher. She is survived by her sons, Anthony Pepe (Mary Kay) of Wellsburg, WV and Tim Pepe of Medina, OH; sister-in-law, Flora Antigo of Wellsburg; six grandchildren: Deanna (Dan) Matechak, Angela (Zenovy) Wowczuk, Andrea (Ryan) Owens, Stephen and Jamie Pepe, Tyler (Kelcey) Pepe, and Jessica Pepe; eight great grandchildren: Ethan, Henry, Mary, Aria, Connor, Stefan, Owen and Sofia; special friends Anna DeGarmo, GiGi Huff and Eleanor Sacripanti; special nurse, Gina; and many nieces and nephews. Private family services were held at convenience of the family.
