Ruth Ann Breen

RUTH ANN BREEN, 58, of Follansbee, WV went home on Thursday, July 3, 2025, to rejoice in the arms of her loving family who have gone before her. Born January 26, 1967, in Steubenville, OH a daughter of the late Dennis and Dorothy (Kafton) Breen. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by an infant brother, Dennis Patrick Breen. Ruth graduated from Brooke High School in 1985. She worked for J.E. Chapman CPA in Wintersville, OH. She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church. In her spare time, she enjoyed doing crafts and making floral arrangements along with doing grave blankets every year for her family members. She also loved doting on her daughter Jenna who was the center of her world, nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Ruth’s wise words always guided us through all of life’s ups and downs. Family was the essence that defined her. Her devotion, warmth, love, laughter, compassion, and (the best potato salad) along with our sweet memories will remain in our hearts forever. She is survived by her loving daughter, Jenna Cook at home; four siblings: Catherine (Jerry) Lancaster of Fort Mill, SC, Dennis (Susan) Breen of Colliers, WV, James (Diana Ladomersky) Breen of Follansbee, WV, and Carol Susan Breen of Follansbee; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and cousins.
