BARBARA ANN SPENCER BLAKE, 80, of Wheeling, WV passed away July 22, 2025, at Wellsburg Health Care Center. She was born September 4, 1944, in Wheeling, WV to the late Earl and Jessie Shreve Spencer. Barbara was a devoted wife, mother and loving grandmother. She was a home maker, avid bingo player, bowler, and a friend to everyone. She never met a stranger. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two brothers Carl “Sonny” and Paul “Pete” Spencer, her sister Shirley Spencer and grandson Johnathan Barnhart. She is survived by her husband, Buster Terry Blake; three sons: Robert “Bob” Williams (Clara) and Earl “Bud” Williams, both of Wheeling, WV, and Terry “Buck” Blake (Kristy) of Canton, OH; and three daughters: Diana Williams Hannen (Tom) of Wheeling, Bobby Jo Blake McDowell (Brian) of Bremen, OH, and Tracy Blake Johnson of Wellsburg, WV. Barb had fourteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews who also survive. Visitation took place on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at Reasner Funeral Home, Wellsburg. The funeral service will be held Friday, July 25, 2025, at 12 p.m., at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Kadesh Chapel Cemetery, Wellsburg.
