VIOLET ELIZABETH CORSO, 92, of Follansbee, WV died peacefully on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at Weirton Medical Center. Born January 22, 1933, in Tyler County, WV a daughter of the late Clarence and Gladys (Daylrimple) Barnhart. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, John Allen Corso; two brothers, Paul Barnhart and Edward Barnhart; and her daughter-in-law, Charlotte Barnhart. Violet was Christian by faith and a self-employed domestic engineer having worked for many families in Brooke County. She enjoyed her spare time with family and friends and loved to play bingo. Surviving are three sons: George Barnhart of Follansbee, WV, Ron (Debbie) Corso of Wellsburg, WV, and Dan (Donna) Corso of Bridgeport, OH; six grandchildren: Danny J., Morgan, Zachary, Brandon, Chelsea, and Carlie; and several nieces and nephews. A simple cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life service will be held at the family’s convenience at a later date. Arrangements by Mullenbach Funeral Home, Follansbee.
