CHRISTINA RAE BASH, 86, of Follansbee, WV died peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at Weirton Medical Center. Christina was born on February 25, 1939, in Wellsburg, WV a daughter of the late Arthur and Louise (Donley) Foltz, Sr. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband Martin T. Bash whom she married on January 26, 1963. She is survived by two daughters: Trudi Rash and husband Jeff Corral of Safety Harbor, FL and Tracey Gambellin and husband Ernie of Leesburg, FL; one brother, Arthur (Jerrie) Foltz, Jr. of Avella, PA; five grandchildren: Sarah and Philip Rash, Jessie Gambellin and companion Morgan Collins, Sydney (Nathan) Shingle, and Alexa Gambellin; and one great granddaughter, Macy Rash-Mitchell. A private visitation was held. A public Catholic Funeral Mass was held on Monday, August 4, 2025, with Father Justin Golna officiating at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Follansbee. Interment was held at Franklin Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Friday Friends. Arrangements were under direction of Mullenbach Funeral Home, Follansbee.
