INVITATION TO BID

Sealed bids for the City of Follansbee Paving Project will be received in the Follansbee City Building, City of Follansbee, 872 Main Street, PO Box 606, Follansbee WV 26037, until August 20, 2025 at 3:30pm.
The request is to provide pricing to overlay Mill Alley from Raymond Street south to Duquesne Street. The work will consist of milling keyways at each intersection and driveway/parking lot access, applying tack coat and placing 1.5” of wearing course asphalt for a total of @ 3,525 sy.
All bidders are required to have the proper liability insurance and a current West Virginia Contractor’s license, along with a city business license. The contractor shall be responsible for obtaining all permits and with any applicable authority.
The City of Follansbee reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive any informalities or irregularities in the proposals received, and to accept any proposal which it deems most favorable.
