SHEILA MAE COOK BATTALIO-MOWDER, 80, of Wellsburg, WV passed away August 12, 2025, at Weirton Geriatric Center, Weirton, WV. She was born January 24, 1945, in Wellsburg, WV to the late Howard Grimm Cook and Betty Marie Crabtree Cook-Stoner, and stepfather Harold Stoner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Kennth “Mouse” Mowder, daughter in law Krista (Koscevic) Battalio, and brother-in-law Dan Finell. She is survived by her two sons, Mark Battalio (Brenda) of Largo, FL and Michael Battalio (Lisa) of Georgia; three daughters: Shelly Aracich (Larry) of Wellsburg, WV, Susan Miller (Jamie) of Bethany, WV, and Carrie Battalio (Corey) of Wellsburg; her sister, Donna Finell of Wellsburg; twelve grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Per Sheila’s wishes there was no visitation or service.
