ARTHUR D. “ARTIE JOE” BALDAUF, 74, of Wellsburg, WV passed away August 22, 2025, at home. He was born November 1, 1950, in Follansbee, WV to the late Herman Edward and Carol Damms Baldauf. Artie was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, a Brooke County School retired teacher, basketball, football, track and softball coach for many years, he also coached wrestling at Wellsburg Middle School, basketball at St. Pauls, and football and basketball at Madonna High School. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Sharon Hodgkiss. He is survived by his wife, Sandra “Sandy” Morris Baldauf; two sons, Chris Baldauf (Lara) of Weirton, WV and Mike Baldauf ( Violet) of Wellsburg, WV; two sisters, Pamela Orlando and Patty Yoder, both of Steubenville, OH; his aunt, Edith Moore; six grandchildren: Nikolas and Riley Mikels, Trevan Price, Hayden and Laila Bailie, and Chloe Baldauf; a great granddaughter on the way; and many nieces and nephews.
