CALVIN DEAN BLIZZARD, 64, of Bethany, WV died peacefully on August 28, 2025, at Valley Hospice Care Center in Steubenville, OH. He was born on November 22, 1960, in Portsmouth, OH, a son of the late Buddy Andrew and Clara Bell (Rice) Blizzard. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his beloved wife Linda Blizzard; two brothers Charles and Buddy Blizzard, Jr.: and two sisters, Sharon Mozingo and Nancy Stapleton. Calvin graduated from Green High School. Calvin worked at Wal Mart in the maintenance department. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, gardening, and spending time with his family. Calvin is survived by two daughters, Ellen (Kevin) Criswell of Bethany, WV and Daisy Blizzard of Plumber, MN; five grandchildren: Aleah Webster, Riley Criswell, Shaylee Criswell, and Emileigh and Kaden Comstock; one great grandson, Grayson; seven siblings: Sarah (Russell) Fredericks of Mason, KY, Zanith Blizzard of Hillsborough, OH, Tressa (Terry) Grooms of Bluecreek, OH, Ronald Blizzard of Georgetown, OH, LeRoy Blizzard of Manchester, OH, Billy (Crystal) Mozingo Georgetown, OH, and John Storer of Sinbia, OH; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
