Sealed bids will be received at City of Follansbee City Building, 872 Main Street, Follansbee, WV 26037, until 3:30 p.m. on October 3 and will be opened and read at the council meeting on October 6, 2025.

Dumpster Outsourcing

The City of Follansbee is seeking competitive bids for the outsourcing of our dumpsters. We invite interested parties to submit a proposal based on the scope of work outlined below.
The City currently supplies approximately 90 dumpsters, varying in size from 1 to 6 yards
Multiple pick-ups per week
Disposal of all collected waste in accordance with local regulations
Maintenance and replacement of the dumpsters. Currently, dumpsters are owned by both the city and private entities.
The interested party will assume all responsibilities for invoicing and payment collection.
The City of Follansbee reserves the right to reject all bids.
