REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS: ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN SERVICES FOR RAY STOAKS PLAZA
The City of Follansbee is inviting proposals from qualified and visionary architects or architectural firms to lead the design and development of Ray Stoaks Plaza—a new public space that will become a vibrant hub for community events, recreation, and social connection.

What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a firm or individual with:
*Proven experience in designing public parks, plazas, and community spaces
*Creative, sustainable, and community-centered design philosophies
*Strong expertise in landscape architecture, accessibility, and inclusive public space planning
*A track record of successful collaboration with local government and regulatory agencies
Scope of Services
The selected architect will be responsible for:
*Developing conceptual and schematic designs
*Producing construction documents and overseeing construction administration
*Coordinating with all relevant local and state regulatory bodies
*Engaging with city leadership and stakeholders throughout the process
