Cecelia Marie Hicks “Squeak” Erdman

CECELIA MARIE HICKS “SQUEAK” ERDMAN, 76, of Follansbee, WV passed away September 22, 2025, at home. She was born January 8, 1949, in Conneaut, OH to the late Lloyd J. and Helen Puffer Hicks. She was a retired nurse and a member of the Jehovah Witness Kingdom Hall, Follansbee, WV. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Edgar “Butch” Erdman who passed Feb. 9, 2023, her daughter Lynnette Marie Erdman, her brother Chris J. Hicks and her sister Cynthia Schatz. Cecelia is survived by her four sons: Lloyd Erdman (Kathy) of Tidioute, PA, Jeffrey Erdman (Beth) of Greenville, PA, Corry Erdman at home, and Bryon Erdman (fiancé Jesse Blake) of Follansbee, WV; a daughter, Jennifer Hilko of Poland, OH; her brother, Craig L. Hicks (Kelli) of NC; two sisters, Cheryl Demmer (Harold) of Niles, OH and Connie Carpenter of Conneaut, OH; twelve grandchildren: Courtney, Shelby, Ashley, Tristian, Jessica, Brittany, Brandy, Brianna, Elizabeth, Madox, Ava, and Ivan; and twelve great grandchildren Elly, Parker, Laila, Annie, Payton, Arabella, Paisleigh, Aurora, Esme’, Caleb, Blakely and Rowan. Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25, 2025 until the time of the service at Reasner Funeral Home, Wellsburg.
