SANDRA “SANDY” J. BROWN, 70, of Weirton, WV, passed Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at WVU Medicine, Weirton Medical Center. She was born January 4, 1955 in Weirton, daughter of the late Louis and Lorene Veal Brown. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Viola Boxley, Evonne Jones, Mary Christine Brown, Claudia Sims, Denise Brown, Audrey Brown, and Debbie Horston; and brothers, Michael Brown, Richard Brown, Paul Brown, and William “Billy” Brown. She worked for many years as a Clerk in Weirton Steel Corporation before working at Change, Inc. Sandy is survived by a son, Antwan Brown of Weirton, WV; siblings, Harriet Hyman (Billy) of Steubenville, OH, Thomas “Tommy” Brown of Weirton, Jerry Brown of Weirton, and Julie “Faye” Brown of Weirton. Visitation was held Friday, October 10, 2025, at Steel and Wolfe Funeral Home, Weirton, where the funeral service was held Saturday, October 11, 2025, with Rev. Rudy McCallister presiding.
