CHARLES F. “CHARLIE” DOBBS, SR., 78, of Wellsburg, WV passed away November 6, 2025, at home. He was born February 15, 1947, in Cameron, WV to the late George Franklin and Virginia Mable Marshall Dobbs. He was a retired mechanic at Herman Strauss and was an Army Veteran during the Vietnam War. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Judith “Judy” Ann Goff Dobbs and sister, Mabel Iverson. He is survived by his sons, Charles Dobbs II of Wellsburg, WV and Mark Dobbs (Collene) of Cameron, WV, and Robert Dobbs of Martins Ferry, OH; his daughter, Candy Dobbs of Wellsburg; two sisters, Sarah Patterson (Phil) and Ruby Wolfe, all of Brilliant, OH; three grandsons, Matt Dobbs Sr., (Tori), Charles Dobbs III and Mark Dobbs II; and two great grandchildren, Esme Dobbs and Matthew Dobbs II. Visitation was held on Monday, November 10, 2025 until the time of the service, at Reasner Funeral Home, Wellsburg. Full military rites by the Ohio Valley Veterans Memorial Squad.
