Jo Ann Henry

JO ANN HENRY, 85, of Valley Grove, WV died peacefully on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at The Brightwood Center in Follansbee, WV. She was born on March 2, 1940, in Wheeling, WV a daughter of Frank and Clara (Beuter) Robinson. In addition to her parents Jo Ann is preceded in death by her husband Donald Lee Henry in 2013; three brothers, Harold Robinson, George “Smity” Smith, and William “Bill” Robinson; one sister, Etta Black; one niece, Tracy Robinson Macri; and one nephew, David Robinson. Jo Ann is Christian by faith. She worked for ETZ Luggage as a gold stamper in her younger years. Jo Ann had a great love for all animals and would care for any that came her way. She is survived by one son, Daniel (Diana) Henry of Valley Grove, WV; two nieces, Pat Smith of Triadelphia, WV and Kim Henry Doll of Wellsburg, WV; and one nephew, Tony Robinson of Wheeling, WV. There was no visitation. All services and inurnment were held privately at the convenience of Jo Ann’s family. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ohio County Animal Shelter or to any animal rescue of your choice in memory of Jo Ann.
