LISA ANN MCCARTNEY KINNEY of Weirton, WV left this world on November 22, 2025, at WVU-Weirton Medical Center. Lisa was born on June 15, 1949, in Youngstown, Ohio, one of eight children of Clarence “Jake” and Edna Byers McCartney. She was a daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend, who embraced life with a joyful spirit and an unwavering faith. Lisa will be reunited with her late husband, Ed Davis, who passed away in 2011. Together, they built a loving home filled with laughter and warmth. A woman of incredible heart, Lisa had a knack for making others feel special; her kindness knew no bounds. She was known for her love of family, which extended to her eight grandchildren and her fifteen great-grandchildren. Nothing brought her more joy than being surrounded by them, especially during the festive holiday gatherings she so cherished. Her devotion to her family was matched only by her love for her beloved cat, Jazzie-Girl, and her passion for country music. Throughout her life, she found solace in the soothing melodies of Anne Murray, particularly in the poignant song “One Day at a Time Sweet Jesus,” which echoed her approach to life—embracing each day with grace and gratitude. In addition to her parents and her husband Ed, Lisa was preceded in death by her sons Donald and Chuckie Ochsenbein, brothers Bill, Larry, Paul, and Mike McCartney, and sisters Lottie Cline and Linda Reese. Left to cherish her memory are her children John Mong, William Woodward, daughters Laura (Gregory) Jeter, Melissa Mong, Christina Mong, Pamela Payne, eight grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and her brother Gene McCartney. Friends were invited to visit Lisa’s family on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, Weirton. Lisa’s wish for cremation has been honored. She was cremated at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home Crematory. Share online condolences at www.grecohertnick.com.
