PUBLIC NOTICE
The City of Follansbee is accepting applications for a laborer for the Public Works Field Crew.
This is a full-time position with a starting pay rate of $15.00 per hour and full benefits, including 100% paid health insurance.
Main responsibilities include maintaining and repairing water and sewer distribution lines. Other duties include maintaining and improving physical facilities of the city, including streets and street rights-of-way, streetlights and signs, storm drainage systems and other related duties as assigned.
Valid Driver License required. Must be able to pass background and drug screening.
Experience with heavy equipment is preferred.
Must be available evenings and weekends.
Internal applicants are given priority.
Applications can be picked up and dropped off at the City Building, Monday – Friday, 8:30a – 3:30pm, 872 Main Street. Applications accepted through January 30, 2026. The City may extend the deadline until a qualified candidate is hired.
