Lisa Rae Barnhart

LISA RAE BARNHART, 68, of Follansbee, WV died peacefully with her family by her side on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at Allegheny General in Pittsburgh, PA. She was born on May 7, 1957, in Turlock, CA a daughter of the late Kenneth and Irene (Jenkins) Kerns. In addition to her parents, Lisa is preceded in death by one son, David Lee Tate; one brother, Bud Kerns and one sister, Kathy Mercer. Lisa graduated from Brooke High School Class of 1977. She spent her years as a homemaker and enjoyed taking care of her family. She is survived by her beloved husband, Emery “Dean” Barnhart at home; one son, Richard (Ashley) Tate of Wellsburg, WV; and three grandchildren, Richard Jr., Weston, and Adaline. There was no visitation. All services and inurnment were held privately at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were under the direction of Mullenbach Funeral Home, Follansbee.
