Mary “Jackie” Perkins

MARY “JACKIE” PERKINS, 82, of Wellsburg, WV died peacefully on Sunday, January 18, 2026, at the Wellsburg Care Center. She was born on February 22, 1943, in Steubenville, OH a daughter of the late George and Mary (Battalio) Trolley. In addition to her parents, Jackie is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ronald Harry Perkins; her only daughter, Donna Marie Horton; and two brothers, Joseph Thomas, and Ronald “Motor” Trolley. Jackie was Christian by faith. She graduated from Follansbee High School and spent her years as a homemaker taking care of her family. She was an avid Bruin fan but most of all loved all things Pittsburgh. She enjoyed going to games and watching the Penguins, Pirates and last but not least the best team of all, The Steelers. Jackie is survived by her son-in-law, who has always been there for her through the very end, Chad Horton of Bethel Park, PA; her nieces and nephews throughout the United States; Bob Trolley, Holly Trolley Toscano and Maria Trolley Leone all of Las Vegas, NV; Michael Trolley and Jeanne Trolley St. John, both of San Antonio Texas; Annette Perkins Priest of Beaver PA; and Ashley Perkins Symons of Fredericksburg VA. There was no visitation. All services and inurnment were held privately. Arrangements were under the direction of Mullenbach Funeral Home, Follansbee.
