Patricia “Patty” Lee Tredway

PATRICIA “PATTY” LEE TREDWAY, 45, of Colliers, WV passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at her residence. Patty was born on July 5, 1980 in Weirton, WV. She was the daughter of the late Okey “Jack” Tredway and Joyce “JoAnn” (Hood) Tredway. Patty was a 1999 graduate of Brooke High School and went on to attend the police academy. Over the years, she wore many hats, including working as a long-haul truck driver, but it was her heart for others that truly defined her. Patty found her calling as a Scout Outreach Director with the Boy Scouts of America, where she poured her love and energy into the Cub Scouts of the Mountaineer Area Council. Patty loved the outdoors and lived life with a sense of adventure. She found joy in quad riding and hunting, and peace in creating—painting and coloring. Some of her most treasured moments were spent sharing those talents with her baby girl, Jo. Patty will be missed more than words can say. She will rest in the wind, in the changing seasons, and in the warmth of the sunshine, always close to our hearts. Her life was taken far too soon, but her love, laughter, and spirit will live on through the many lives she touched. She was loved beyond measure by her family and friends. Patty is survived by her wife, Irene “Michelle” (Kyser) Tredway; a daughter, Jo Tredway; a sister, Connie Bucy and her husband, Jerry; a niece and two nephews, Tiffany Neff, Jayson Beatty and Okey Tredway III; great nieces and nephews, Korrine “Kai” Neff, Erin Beatty, Savanna Beatty and Joann Beatty; and numerous other family and dear friends.
