Shirley Theresa Kelley

SHIRLEY THERESA KELLEY, 92, of Leetonia, OH died peacefully on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at Blossom Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Salem, OH. She was born on July 10, 1933, in Cleveland, OH a daughter of the late Thomas D. and Theresa (Meyer) Eccleson. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Edward J. Kelley, Jr on January 27, 2026; and one son, Danny Jackson. Shirley graduated from North Phoenix High School Class of 1951. She worked a secretary and appraiser for Security Mortgage in Phoenix, AZ before moving to Ohio. Shirley was protestant by faith. In her early years Shirley enjoyed traveling and fishing with her husband. Shirley is survived by two sons, Dale (Heather) Jackson of Phoenix, AZ and Cort (Tracy) Jackson of Peoria, AZ; one daughter in law, Joni Jackson of Cortez, CO; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; four sisters-in-law: Mary Louise (Terry) Scott of New Manchester, WV, Chesterine Price of NY, Patricia (Mark) Wagner, and Kathy (Rich) Beatty both of Follansbee, WV; dear friend and neighbor Chris (Korisa) Walton of Leetonia, OH; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. There was no visitation. A graveside service will be held privately at New Cumberland Cemetery where Shirley will be laid to rest with her with her husband, Ed in early spring.
