Donna Lou Mozingo

DONNA LOU MOZINGO, 71, of Weirton WV passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, with her children by her side. She entered this world on November 29, 1954, in Wellsburg, WV, a beloved daughter of the late Harry and Eleanor Dennis Mozingo. Her life’s work was caring for people. As a personal caretaker, she offered comfort, dignity, and compassion to those who needed it most. She was welcomed into eternal rest by her beloved granddaughter, Hannah Lynn Mozingo; her sisters, Alice Taylor and Mary Bailey; her brothers, Allen Mozingo and Warren Mozingo; and her twin brother, Donald “Duke” Mozingo, with whom she shared a lifelong and cherished bond. She leaves behind a legacy of love in her devoted children, George (Tracy) Mozingo of Hopedale, Ohio; Mary Mozingo of Weirton, WV; Stephanie (Scott) Siderich of Weirton; and Ernest Mozingo of Wintersville, OH. She was a proud grandmother to Tyler (Jordan) Mozingo, Haley (Gavin) Shaffer, Aleigha Edgar, Ernest Mozingo Jr., Kaleigh Edgar, Hunter Mozingo, Ryan Edgar, and Jackson Mozingo, each of whom held a special place in her heart. In her final months, she was overjoyed to welcome two precious great-grandbabies, Nora Shaffer and Oakley Mozingo, and she looked forward with happiness and anticipation to another great-grandson expected in August. She is also lovingly remembered by her brothers, Ronnie Mozingo, George (Nancy) Mozingo, and Larry (Eva) Mozingo, and her sister, Josie Martin and countless nieces and nephews.
