Marcia Ellen (Reese) Tice

MARCIA ELLEN (REESE) TICE, 78, of Colliers, WV died peacefully on Monday, February 9, 2026, at Golden Oaks Residential Board and Care in Follansbee, WV. Marcia was born on August 1, 1947, in Weirton, WV, a daughter of the late Andrew and Elizabeth (Sikora) Reese. In addition to her parents, Marcia is preceded in death by her brother David Reese in 1996, and her husband, Danny Tice in 2018. Marcia graduated from Weirton High School in 1965. She was a creative person who enjoyed art, music, painting, and nature. Throughout their fifty plus years of marriage, Marcia regularly assisted Danny with his excavating company in what was truly a “mom and pop” small business. Marcia was a member of the Promise of Victory Church of God in Weirton, WV. She is survived by her son, Brody Tice of Wilton, Connecticut; and three grandchildren, Elizabeth Tice, Ethan Tice, and Ephraim Tice. Visitation was held on Friday, February 13, 2026, at Mullenbach Funeral Home, Follansbee. A second visitation was held on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at the Promise of Victory Church of God, Weirton, with the funeral service commencing immediately thereafter, with Pastor Kevin Rhodes officiating. Interment followed at Chestnut Ridge Cemetery, Burgettstown, PA. Condolences may be left at www.mullenbachfh.com.
